Wight, the Wyvern Lord
Rough Sketches of Wight and Aiea:
Lore:
In the Ironspike Mountains stretching from the Freljord into Zaun, there once thrived a sentient and benevolent race of drake known as the Wyvern. These special kinds of dragons were born with venomous stingers at the end of their tails, having evolved to poison and slow the small quick prey the mountains' harsh environment inspired. The Wyverns lived in peace for hundreds of years, until during one of the ancient Rune Wars, the psychopathic researchers from Zaun discovered these creatures and began harvesting them for their venom glands. The process to remove these glands proved quite fatal to the wyvern, but the Zaunites paid no heed. Now there are no more wyverns left, save for one last small tribe led by Wight, a fearsome ancient wyvern and the most powerful of his race. Wight was content with remaining isolated until the Zaunites finally located his tribe and began to capture them all. One by one, his brethren succumbed to the nets and weapons of the Zaunites. Even fighting as fiercely as he could, Wight too soon became overcome. As Wight lay in his net, seething with rage and agony, he saw a band of Piltover warriors massacre the Zaunites and scatter them into the mountains. As the warriors freed Wight and his people, he saw their looks of confusion upon their faces and knew that they had never seen wyverns before. Wight demanded to confer with the warriors’ leader. He was guided to Aiea, a young woman who looked no older than 30.
Aiea explained that her band of Piltover commandos were tracking a large Zaunite host suspected to be preparing war machines in the mountains, but she never dreamed that they would find a tribe of wyverns. After this incident, Aiea and Wight agreed that the dire situation of the wyverns must be made abundantly clear on a world stage if they were ever to be truly safe from the horrors of Zaunite experimentation. Aiea knew of only one place that would get Wight into the public eye safely, the League of Legends, and she knew that Piltover was in need of better representation in the League too, so Aiea proposed a bargain with Wight. Aiea promised that Wight’s tribe would be protected from Zaun while he was away, but in return asked that she be allowed to fight alongside Wight representing Piltover. Even for their rescuers, Wight was against trusting humans after so many long years of witnessing their capacity for cruelty and death. But he owed them a life debt, and the Zaunites were sure to return in greater numbers to end his race once and for all. The chance to deal out vicious slaughter to the Zaunites' champions and morale was too tempting to pass up as well. Wight agreed to Aiea's terms, and together they flew off for the Institute of War. Wyverns were not fire-breathing dragons, but on that day, Zaun ignited a raging inferno within the wyverns' strongest.
“My people will thrive again; I will not let our proud race die.”-Wight
Clarifications on Wight:
- Wight’s ultimate allows him and Aiea to separate into two separate units.
- While separated, Aiea acts as a pet minion (Like Tibbers, Morde's Ghost, Yorick's phantom, etc.), but unlike a pet, Aiea has her own abilities separate from Wight's.
- Aiea's abilities are activated when Wight uses one of his abilities.
- Aiea’s abilities target Wight’s targets unless otherwise noted.
- Aiea’s abilities have no cost, but can only be used once per activation of Divide and Conquer.
- Example:Wight uses Divide and Conquer and Aiea leaps off of Wight. Aiea is now controllable like a pet[ALT+RCLICK]. Next, Wight targets a champion with Stinger Strike, and at that moment, Aiea uses Piercing Thrust, charging her next basic attack. This holds true for all abilities, that when Wight's opponent is targeted (for W it's at the moment of using the ability), that is when Aiea attempts to use her corresponding ability. It's important to note that Aiea acts like a champion in the sense that her commands don't queue up. That means, she can only try to do one action at a time just like a champion, whether that be using an ability, moving, attacking, etc.
Abilities:
- Wight’s abilities are mana based.
- Wight is meant to be played as a Solo Top Melee Bruiser, being able to lay down CC, soak up a little damage and dish it back out.
- Ideally, the ability icons would be a combination of the two pictures divided with half of the icon devoted to Wight's and the other half devoted to Aiea's corresponding ability but only when Wight's ult is active. Otherwise the full icon is devoted to Wight's abilities. The icon will be divided diagonally. The tooltip will provide information on both Aiea's and Wight's ability. Obviously, Wight's ult is an exception to this.
Innate(Wight, always active), Feed: Last hits heal Wight for .5/1/2% of his max health. This only happens to Wight, and only when Wight last hits a unit. Aiea last hitting a unit only grants gold.
Innate(Aiea only, when separated), Hextech Speartip: Aiea's attacks apply armor shred stacks (5/10/15) that last for 2 seconds (max 3 stacks)
Mana Cost:
Q, Stinger Strike: Wight stings a single target with his poisonous stinger, dealing 70/90/100/110/120 (+.1 AP) magic damage over 3 seconds and preventing auto-attacking for 1 second.
Q, Piercing Thrust: Aiea’s next attack will be a powerful stab on a single target, dealing 100/125/150/175/200 (+.5 AD) damage that ignores 20% of enemy armor.
W, Wyvern’s Vengeance: Passive: Wight passively gains 5/10/15/20/25 bonus Attack Damage from his constant desire for vengeance.
Active: Wight howls out with a terrifying screech, lowering armor and magic resist by 10/15/20/25/30, attack damage by 5/10/15/20/25, and attack speed by 15/20/25/27/30% of nearby enemies.
W, Spear Vault: Aiea pole-vaults to Wight (there is a set range to how far she can pole-vault, if Wight is not within this range, Aiea leaps towards Wight as far as possible) using her spear, dealing AoE damage and slow upon landing.
E, Death from Above: Wight takes to the air briefly and tackles into a target from the sky, briefly stunning the target and dealing damage.
E, Exploit Their Weakness: Aiea attempts to synergize her next basic attack with an allied unit's assault, dealing damage regardless, and applying a Bleed Debuff if the target is currently CC'd. While under the effects of this debuff, the target procs Feed with each attack he suffers from Wight.

R, Divide and Conquer: On first activation, Aiea dismounts Wight and becomes a pet with stats equivalent to half Wight’s current base stats (Except Aiea's base movement speed is a constant high value) on the battlefield. Aiea gains no benefits from any items you have. Upon reactivation, after a minute, or if Aiea's fatigue bar (effectively an Aiea specific health bar with half of Wight's current max HP) runs out, Aiea leaps and remounts Wight and the skill goes on cooldown. While divided, Wight’s Movement Speed increases. Aiea prioritizes champions that attack Wight, but is also pet controllable.
Stats:
Will be modifying these stats later to hard stats..
Health (HP, HP Regen, Armor, MR): Normal
Spells (Mana, Mana Regen, CD, AP): Weak
Attack(AD, AS, Movement): Very Strong
Difficulty: Very High

For simplicity's sake, Aiea does not have any quotes save for one joke. Besides, Wight is the champion, Aiea is simply a mechanic.

Selection:
- My people will NOT be ignored!
Movement:
- I must not rest yet.
- By your command, Summoner.
- Always forward.
- No more idling.
Attacking:
- They will fear my sting.
- I shall devour their evil hearts.
- Into the fray, for my brethren!
- I shall show them my agony.
Taunts:
- This may sting a bit.
- I’m feeling a little venomous today...
Jokes:
- Aiea: Hey Wight, wanna hear a Wyvern joke?
Wight: Oh SPEAR me. - What do you call a wyvern’s opponent? Dinner…
Laugh:
- So long as my people are endangered, I shall not utter a single joyful cry.
Will be adding Cooldowns, Mana Cost, Range, and Damage values later today. It's an older concept of mine before I started doing stats.
