Post by Nazrethim on Mon Feb 18, 2013 4:30 am

    Name: Krausser
Title: The chosen of the void

    Combat Role: Anti-mage bruiser
    Lane Comp: Mid lane

Appearance: Krausser is a medium size guy with a black armor and a cape. Imagine a mix of malzahar and Lord mordekaiser (without horns or spikes in the armor). The gauntles end in claw-like fingerparts

    Statistics:
    Health: 430 (+80)
    Armor: 17 (+3,5)
    MResist: 30 (+0,5)
    ADamage: 53 (+3,5)
    ASpeed: 0,640 (+1,1%)
    ARange: 125
    Mana: 240 (+45)
    HP Regen: 5 (+0,6)
    MP Regen: 8 (+0,9)
    MSpeed: 350

Armor of the Void(Innate):Krausser’s armor absorbs energy to become stronger.
Permanently increases Magic resistance by 0.25 and Ability power by 1 every 100 magic damage received.

    Void Dischrage(Q):
Krausser fires a focused beam of void energy to the target dealing damage and overloading it, after a short delay the energy will explode dealing additional damage to the target and nearby enemies.
    Beam damage: 70/100/130/160/190+0.4 AP
    Explosion damage: 40/70/100/130/160+0.4 AP
    Casting time: 1sec
    Cooldown: 15/13.75/12.5/11.25/10sec
    Cost: 70/85/100/115/130 mana
    Beam Range: 700
    Explosion radius: 250

    Essence Drain
    (W):
Passive: Krausser gains 2/4/6/8/10% spell vamp
Active: Krausser absorbs 40/70/100/130/160+0.4 AP Health from the target
    Casting time: 0.5sec
    Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12sec
    Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana
    Range:melee

    Void Barrier (E):
Krausser uses his magic powers to project a protective barrier that blocks any ranged damage. Allies inside the barrier will be protected also. If the barrier is not destroyed krausser will absorb it after a while healing himself and temporary increase his armor and magic resist.
Barrier blocks up to 175/250/325/400/475 + 50/75/100/125/150 per enemy champion within 1000 range + 1.2 AP ranged damage an last for 4sec
Absorbing the barrier heals krausser for 50/100/150/200/250 + 0.5 AP and increases his armor and magic resist by 2/3.5/5/6.5/8% his Ability power for 5sec
    Cost: 90/110/130/150/170 mana
    Barrier radius: 300
    Casting time: 1sec
    Channeling time: 4sec
    Cooldown: 20sec

    Void collapse (Ultimate, R):
Krausser channels the energies of the void to summon his masters. However, since he is not complete, the spell only collapses the dimension around himself.
Krausser and any enemy in 200 radius around Krausser will be killed instantly. Aditionally, enemies in 400 radius will take heavy magic damage. Krausser is inmune to CCs while channeling and the spell cannot be interrupted, however if he dies before the spell is "complete" the instat kill AoE damage doesn't occur, only the magic damage.
    Outer area damage: 300/450/600+0.8 AP
    Casting time: 3sec
    Cost: 200 mana
    Cooldown: 70/65/60sec
Warning! : Even if it's a suicide skill the kills count normally.

    Taunt:

He moves like a rapper while singing the following rhyme:
"I will summon the void in this land
and make everybody poop in their pants
If you think you can fight us then you are mad
no one can defeat us, go home now!"

    Lore:
Krausser was born with a rudimentary form of prophecy, unfortunately for him he was born in noxus and worst in a low class family. Like his father, he was forced to learn the way of the war and eventually, to join to the military. He was a good soldier, but he always felt a pressure inside, a magic sense that made his job more difficult some times. After five years of service he deserted, leaving behind a letter promissing his return to serve noxus once he discovers his true potential. He followed his instincts all the time, they leaded him to the forgotten Icathia. There he found statues of ancient and evil gods. He heard a deep voice coming from the ruins and he followed that voice to a chamber with an ancient and strange armor, but aparently infused with powerful magic. “Take the armor and the true power will be yours” the voice said “but there is a price for it, you must bring us to your realm", "how?" he asked. "in order to summon us you must find and absorb the essences of those who obtained our power, those who are fighting in the league of legends, Malzahar and Kassadin”. Krausser agreed and when he took the armor he felt an inmense magic power flowing in his veins. After those events he departed to the institute of war, to make his part of the deal.
“I won’t return to noxus, I have a new boss now” –Krausser
“I must stop this monstrosity of the void before it destroys everything” -Kassadin

    Aditional information
    :
He moves on foot and his basic attack is a melee strike with his hands (imagine something like warwick’s basic attack). The same for his W ability, but with a purple shine and maybe a purple trace. For his Q krausser channels energies in his hand and then release a beam of dark purple light to the target, the target must remain with some sort of electricity before an energy based explosion. For his E I’m thinking he must kneel and put a hand on the floor generating a dark purple dome around himself, after the shield’s timer expires the dome contracts itself back to Krausser (if not destroyed, in that case it should break like crystal and desapear). Now the interesting thing, the ultimate: Krausser channels powerful magics turning the area around him a true maelstrom ( the ultimate must be clearly visible)

    How to counter him:
-His abilities are powerful, avoid dealing magic damage to him to prevent his passive to be effective
-Careful in team fights! be aware of his ultimate, run away from him if he begins to channel.

    Tips to play with him:
-Building him with plenty of Health will help you to take advantage of his passive
-Be sure to receive as much magic damage as you can, your abilities will become very powerful
-If your team has an AoE CC coordinate with them to use your ultimate at its max potential.
-Krausser ulti is a good friend of Galio and zilean ultis (if you know what I mean Wink )

He sounds more like a tank than a bruiser when you look at his stat growths. Might wanna lower his AD growth to 2.4 or something close to make him fit the tank deal better. Also, the absorption power of his E is little high for many characters to destroy if he focuses it. Maybe it should be 150/225/300/375/450 damage to break it. Also, I do think he should have some CC to make him act more like a tank. Like his Q could say... briefly stun enemies hit by the explosion, and his E could lower the Attack Speed/ Attack Damage/ Movement Speed of enemies while they're within the dome. Also, for his ult, an instant kill is a little, well, overkill, especially for a tank, even if it does kill him in the process. I mean, if you messed up and the enemies escaped, you just picked yourself off and left you team lacking a member for a bit of time. It might work better for it to deal heavy damage to enemies near him and less to those further away, while giving him a fixed health recoil, that may or may not be capable of killing him. Your choice. Say enemies closest to you take 550/775/1000 magic damage, while those outside the range of the void collapse will take one third of the damage (Too lazy to do the math right now). But even that is a lot damage for a tank (Nunu comes to mind) and in general.

But his passive... It sounds rather fun! It really does give him incentive to do a tank's job and run in first, especially against mages, which usually wreck tanks, which usually gives tanks incentive to AVOID them. I mean, you can't willy-nilly charge mages, or else you'll end up feeding them, but the mages also need to be wary of attacking you often, or they'll end up making you magically jacked if you keep surviving, and it's choice-making like that that makes LoL fun. They need to ascertain if they can kill you, lest you escape stronger than before, while you need to determine if you can take a full or partial magic burst and survive to make yourself more powerful when needed.

Now remember, you don't actually have to listen to ANY of my suggestions, but it's nice to know that you at least read them and acknowledge my attempt to help. Wow, I couldn't think of a good way to say that.

Anyways, I think his joke is hilarious, and I find it amusing how he's a bad rapper.

Yes, very helpful. And yes, I also think he is more tanky than bruiser Razz
mmm.. the E is an ability hard to balance, 450 would be ok for 1v1, but in a team fight the shield wiould be destroyed in a second. I got an idea to fix it ^^
The ulti is the hardest part of balancing this champion, yes he CAN make a penta in a single spell, but you have to catch the enemy. But using that ability is a matter of choice. You can sacrifice yourself for the team or never use it unless you know they are going to blow you up. Actually the ultimate is more a psychological weapon since melee champions will have serious doubts to charge against you.
Now to the CCs matter, he doesn't have CC because he has already have two sustain abilities (W and E) and adding a CC would make him OP or near. My logic is Difficult to kill+sustain+cc= no fun for the enemy. (with the ultimate at least they will laugh if he dies without killing someone ^^)

Thank you so much for what are you saying about the passive ^^

Of course I acknowledge your attemp to help, my respects to you my friend ^^

Of course he is a bad rapper, I'm not a rapper XD (yes I invented that Razz)

The edit on the barrier sounds great. It helps keep the strength reasonable at most any time.
