    Hey all, Ploki122 here,

I was looking through the forum, reviewing the champs that still manage to pique my interest, and I stumbled onto something.

What do you guys think of a targeted grab? In what case would it be ok? What are the restraints you would put on it? would it be blockable? cancelable? a Wind-up?

Basically, if you had to design a targeted grab, how would you guys do it? Or is it simply conceptually flawed?

P.s. I plan on re-using this thread anytime I've got new interesting mechanisms, if you have any discussions like this one, just post it and I'll edit it in the OP.

Targeted grab I would use a very similar mechanic to Caitlyn's Ultimate. Make it intercedable by an ally, and or stopped if it collided with terrain.

Well, if it's targeted, then that means it'd be a guaranteed grab, wouldn't it? It might not be so bad if it wasn't as long as Blitzcrank, Nautilus, or Thresh though. I do agree with Flames though that it should be interceptable. Gives the tank to do its job of blocking.

Maybe it could be tether for a little bit, keeping the target within a certain distance of you, then you can pull them in slowly if you reactivate it, but be unable to move yourself, and can let go by reactivating again, which means you could be forced to let go and leave yourself less vulnerable if they have allies coming after you.

Hmmm... the tether bit does seems nice... A bit like Leblanc's tether, but with no initial damage, targeted instead of skillshot, and at the end it's a pull instead of a snare...

I could see that working imo.
